Series 6 Filming Pictures, Videos, and Spoilers

Hello everyone! Yeah, I've missed doing these filming picspam posts, but we haven't had a lot of location shoots so far this year (that we know of!), so there hasn't been much to post! But, this week the crew are in lovely Charlestown, Cornwall to filming episode 3 (written by Steve Thomspon) of the spring series.

Yup, we got pirates! Hugh Bonneville will be playing their captain (possibly the real-life pirate John Avery).



















Karen! Arthur hasn't been spotted on set yet, but apparently Matt has been ferried between here and a second unit filming location (headed up by Toby Haynes, who is helping out!) and will likely be back tonight. Here's hoping for Arthur as well.









Karen with ... a cutlass! Yup, Amy gets to do some swashbuckling. Karen is reportedly doing most if not all of her own stunts.

In Closing
God this looks epic and badass. PIRAAAATES. Not gonna lie, in addition to Amy swinging a sword (and she's apparently pretty handy!) I hope we get the Doctor swinging one like a derp, and Rory swinging one like a pro. Or Amy wanting Rory to swing like a pro, but him saying he can't possibly be expected to remember how to do something he last did 2,000 years ago.

And if Arthur doesn't sing some Gilbert and Sullivan in the Confidential I will cry.

Oh man, this is fueling my damn Pirate fetish like nobody's business. Especially Red Amelia Pond and her mighty cutlass. WOO HOO! And Hugh Bonneville is incredible so can't wait to see Piratey!him too.

Btw, the videos are not showing up for me in any browser on any computer. *cries*

Yeah IDEK what's going on there with the videos. I tried redoing the embed twice and they didn't work, so screw them. D: I gave search instructions instead!

More's coming from the same vidder btw. Looks like they filmed the pre-title sequence before Team TARDIS showed up.
